Bio

Scott Klein is the Co-Founder, Co-Chairman, and Co-CEO of Beach Point Capital Management. Mr. Klein has over 25 years of experience focusing on public and private credit markets, including investing in high yield and distressed debt and managing alternative investment portfolios. Prior to founding Beach Point, Mr. Klein co-led the multi-billion dollar alternative credit business at Post Advisory Group and previously worked as a bankruptcy attorney. He graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and received a J.D. from UCLA Law School where he served on the Law Review. Mr. Klein serves on the Board of Governors of Cedars Sinai Hospital, the Board of Trustees of Brentwood School, as well as the Advisory Boards of UCLA Law School and the Lowell Milken Institute for Business Law and Policy.
