Sean is a Managing Director of H.I.G. Bayside Capital’s credit and special situations strategy in the U.S. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction structuring, and portfolio company oversight. Sean has led numerous successful Bayside investments and sits on the Investment Committee for the Bayside U.S. funds. Sean has over 20 years of credit, special situations, and private equity investing experience. Before joining Bayside, Sean was a Principal at Apax Partners, a global private equity firm. He began his investment career at Saunders Karp & Megrue, a middle market U.S. private equity firm. Mr. Britain received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
