Bio

Charles Rayner is a Managing Director at BayPine. He has significant public and private investment experience across a variety of industrial sectors, including aerospace and defense, construction materials, distribution, manufacturing, security, and related software and services. Previously, Mr. Rayner was a Principal at Declaration Partners. Prior to that, he was on the investment team at Marble Arch, a value-investing hedge fund, and Conatus Capital, a fundamental equity-focused hedge fund. He began his career in the Private Equity Group at Blackstone. Mr. Rayner currently serves on the board of New Frontier Materials. Mr. Rayner holds a BA and a BS from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
