Prior to co-founding Bay Capital Investment Partners, Mr. Pool was associated with Hartford Financial Management, Inc., focused on business development and strategy. This followed his role as the Managing Director of Alternative Investments for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board ("SWIB"). Prior to SWIB, Mr. Pool was a Vice President at Whitney & Co. As a principal, he helped structure, market, and manage Whitney's $650 million leveraged mezzanine fund. He was a member of the four person Credit Committee that reviewed and approved all mezzanine transactions. Mr. Pool began his investment career at The Travelers Insurance Companies and has over 30 years of private capital markets experience. Franz is a graduate of Rockford College and holds MBA and JD degrees from Washington University in St. Louis.
