Bio

Silvia joined Battery in 2023 as director of product management, a role focused on leading product management and design related to the firm’s internal software development and data initiatives, with the goal of streamlining investment analysis and workflows. She joins Battery with 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS, including fintech and maritime commerce, with experience leading cross-functional teams and building software products from the ground up. Silvia started her career at EY in Zurich, Switzerland, before working at UBS and moving to Boston in 2016. Most recently, Silvia was a product manager at Veson Nautical, managing software for global maritime operations. Silvia has a BA in business administration from John Cabot University in Rome and a dual degree from the University of Wales, Cardiff. She is a third-generation sailor, and has competed in national regattas in Switzerland, Italy and Finland, as well as European Championships and Olympic-selection regattas.
