Shiran, a partner in Battery’s Israel office, enjoys working with great entrepreneurs at all stages looking to solve problems spanning the software and consumer landscape, and has a particular fascination with financial services. Shiran is currently involved with Battery’s investments in 8fig, BigPanda, Cross River Bank, Gong.io, hibob, HoneyBook, Lanes & Planes, LightBox, Next Insurance, NorthOne, Novidea, Sofar Sounds and Soldo. Previously, he was also involved with Affirm (NASDAQ: AFRM), Credifi, Elastifile (acquired by Google), Excelero (acquired by NVIDIA), GuardiCore (acquired by Akamai), Insert Mobile (acquired by Pendo) and Zeitgold. Prior to Battery, Shiran was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank, working in both financial institutions and technology coverage. Shiran received a BS in bioengineering with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles.
