Bio

Mr. Sugimoto joined Bain Capital in 2006. He is a Partner in the Financial & Business Services and Technology, Media & Telecommunications Verticals and is Co-Head of Asia Private Equity. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Sugimoto was a Managing Director at Ripplewood Holdings where he primarily focused in the media, technology and telecommunications industries. Previously, he worked at Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo. Mr. Sugimoto received an MBA from Harvard Business School. He received a BA in Economics from Keio University in Tokyo.
