Bio

Mr. Wakita joined Bain Capital Private Equity in 2020. He is a Principal in the Tokyo office and is a member of the Asian Pacific Private Equity team. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Shunsuke worked at The Longreach Group, a pan-Asian private equity fund, where he led buyout investments and post-acquisition processes in various industries in Japan. Previously, he worked at Morgan Stanley in Tokyo office and was engaged in M&A advisory and equity/debt offerings for financial services industry. Mr. Wakita received LL.B, Law and LL.M, International Law from University of Tokyo.
