Bio

Mr. Farkas joined Bain Capital in 2012. He is a Partner and a member of the North American Private Equity team. Mr. Farkas has worked in both the Boston and New York offices and focuses primarily on investments in the industrials and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Mr. Farkas was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company in the New Jersey office, where he addressed strategy, marketing and sales, and organization topics for global consumer goods manufacturers and retail clients. Prior to joining McKinsey, he worked as a product design engineer at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan. Mr. Farkas received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
