Ms. Lotane joined Bain Capital in 2007. She is a Partner and serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for the firm and Chief Operating Office for Bain Capital Private Equity. In her role, Ms. Lotane leads a team of human resources professionals responsible for recruiting, performance management and leadership development, compensation, culture and diversity and inclusion for the more than 1,500 employees working for Bain Capital globally. In addition, Ms. Lotane serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Bain Capital Private Equity globally. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ms. Lotane worked as Chief Marketing and Development Officer and Head of North American Operations for Mercer Management Consulting, now Oliver Wyman. In that role, Ms. Lotane was also responsible for Learning, Knowledge Management and intellectual capital development. Prior to that, Ms. Lotane was a consulting partner at Mercer and Corporate Decisions, Inc., focused on retail and consumer products. She also worked as a consultant at Braxton Associates earlier in her career. Ms. Lotane received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA from Tufts University.
