Bio

Mr. Otani joined Bain Capital Private Equity in 2021. He is a Vice President in the Tokyo office and is a member of the Asian Pacific Private Equity team. Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Mr. Otani was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division (Principal Investment Area) where he was engaged in private equity investments and growth investments in Japan. Previously, he worked at J.P. Morgan where he was engaged in M&A advisory and equity/debt underwriting for financial services industry in Japan. Mr. Otani earned his degree of Master of Economics and Bachelor of Arts from The University of Tokyo.
