Robert is the CEO of H Cycle, LLC – a hydrogen production company focused on converting waste to hydrogen with near-zero GHG emissions. With more than 30 years of experience in global power markets, he has led more than $5 billion in transactions worldwide for more than 8 GW of projects. He has been instrumental in building companies across the value chain, including development, construction, operations, and manufacturing. Previously, Robert served as CEO of General Electric’s Energy Storage business where he had P&L responsibility for a team spanning Product Development & Engineering to Construction, Commissioning & Operations. In previous roles, he served as Senior Advisor with the private equity and infrastructure group at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, Chief Development Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at RES Americas, President & Co-Founder at Agile Energy, and Founder and Chief Development Officer at Ausra. Robert began his career with the AES Corporation, where he led business units as CEO/GM in Kazakhstan, Chile, and El Salvador, and developed projects in Hawaii, California, and Canada. Robert holds a B.A. in Economics and M.S. in Engineering from Stanford University. He is on the Emeritus Board of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) and served on the board of Grid-Net, Inc. Mr. Morgan is an advisor to Energy Exploration Technologies.
