Mr. Schinder is responsible for overseeing compliance across the firm’s strategies. Prior to joining Avenue in 2019 as Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Schinder was Chief Compliance Officer and Assistant General Counsel of Tricadia Capital, where he managed the firm’s compliance program and served as internal counsel in respect of Tricadia’s credit, convexity and private equity strategies, among other areas. Prior to that, Mr. Schinder was an Associate in the Capital Markets Department of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where he represented issuers and underwriters in structured finance transactions with a focus on commercial real estate securitization. Mr. Schinder received a B.S., with honors, from Cornell University (1999) and a J.D. from Cornell Law School (2003).
