Jack Kolodny is a Managing Partner of Auxo Investment Partners. Mr. Kolodny has 20 years of experience in investing, operations and consulting. Prior to founding Auxo, Mr. Kolodny was a Managing Director with Blackford Capital where he was a member of the firm’s investment committee and developing governance and operational-enhancement activities. Mr. Kolodny worked directly with a number of companies, serving as the Chairman of the Board of Key Health and of Custom Profile. Additionally, he served on the boards of Grand Transformers and Staging Products. Prior to joining Blackford Capital, Mr. Kolodny was an Investment Analyst at First Q Capital, a Newport Beach, Cal.-based long/short hedge fund. He was responsible for managing investment accounts totaling $40 MM in capital, including several investments that were top performers for the fund. Prior to First Q Capital, Mr. Kolodny was a principal at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) focused on turnaround, growth and web strategy. He partnered closely with clients to solve strategic and operational problems in multiple industries. Mr. Kolodny led research teams in the development of best-selling business-strategy books “Profit Patterns” (Times Business, 1999), “How Digital is your Business?” (Crown Business, 2000), and “The Art of Profitability” (Warner Books, 2002). Mr. Kolodny is one of the founding partners of MyScorecard.com, a leading golf handicapping Web Site. Mr. Kolodny was responsible for determining the overall strategy, new feature development as well as executing all marketing and business development. Mr. Kolodny holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with Bachelors of Arts & Bachelors of Engineering degrees from Dartmouth University. He and his wife have three children and reside in Los Angeles, CA.
