Gerald Parsky founded Aurora Capital Partners in 1991 and currently serves as Chairman of the Firm. Mr. Parsky is also Chairman and a Managing Member of Aurora Resurgence. Mr. Parsky also is a Partner of Arrowhead Investment Management, a firm investing in Junior Capital. Mr. Parsky is an active member of numerous civic and charitable boards, including the RAND Corporation, and a member of the Board of Directors of The Irvine Company. Mr. Parsky was also Chairman of the Board of Regents, University of California and a Trustee of Princeton University. Previously, Mr. Parsky was the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs from 1974-1977. For the next 14 years, he was affiliated with the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he was a Senior Partner and member of the Executive and Management Committees. Mr. Parsky is a graduate of Princeton University (BA) and the University of Virginia Law School (JD).
