Günther Skrzypek has been Managing Partner of Augur Capital since he co-founded the company in 2003. While at Augur, he has played a significant role in the investments of both company funds. Before co-founding Augur, Günther served as the Country Head for Germany, Austria, Switzerland & Eastern Europe at AXA Investment Managers and as Chairman of the Board for AXA IM Deutschland, where he was also a member of the Global Executive Committee. Günther began his career with Morgan Guaranty Trust (now J.P. Morgan). He held various management positions before heading J.P. Morgan’s asset management business in Germany and Central Europe and joining the company’s European management board. He left to become CEO and Country Head at Schroders for Germany, Austria, Switzerland. Günther studied mathematics, physics and economics at Goethe University Frankfurt and graduated with a Master’s degree in mathematics. He serves on the supervisory boards of several German companies.
