Vijay Mony is a Managing Director working out of Atar Capital’s Los Angeles office, where he provides transaction life cycle support including transaction execution, due diligence, and transition oversight for the firm's newly acquired companies. Post-acquisition, Vijay partners with management teams to define and drive them to their "Full Potential". Prior to Atar, Vijay held senior M&A and Operations positions with OpenGate Capital, Cerberus Capital Management and Alvarez & Marsal. Vijay was also a management consultant with Accenture-Strategy; and started his career at Ford Motor Company where he served in a variety of operating roles in supplier quality, lean manufacturing and global purchasing. Vijay holds a B.A. from Michigan State University and is a trained Six Sigma Black Belt. Vijay has published and spoken at various conference events around topics such as M&A integration, and harnessing environmental sustainability as a competitive advantage.
