Bio

Sebastiaan joined Astorg in 2023 and is a member of the Investment Team. Sebastiaan joins Astorg from Arch Capital Group where he was CIO, Alternatives and primarily responsible for building a global private markets investment portfolio. He previously worked in Hong Kong where he held different roles, notably CIO at Sun Hung Kai & Co, and Managing Director and Head of the Hong Kong office at Harbourvest Partners. Sebastiaan started his career at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division, based both in London and Hong Kong. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Doctorandus Degree in International Financial Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
