Bio

Francisco is an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners. He joined the team in 2021 with over three decades of industrial experience, having previously worked at Cintra – Ferrovial and Capital Energy, in senior management and board positions. During his time at Cintra, he was CFO for close to 20 years until 2020, and he oversaw the financing of over 115 projects for the group in excess of €59bn internationally (among others the privatization of 407ETR, and the acquisition of BAA), as well as the IPO of the business in 2004. He held board positions in a number of Cintra’s subsidiaries during that time, with a particular focus on overseeing the many transportation assets of the group. Prior to that he was CFO at Ferrovial Infraestructuras. Francisco holds an MBA from IE Business School and a Degree in Economics by Universidad Complutense (Madrid).
