His primary responsibilities include sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio management. Prior to Arrowroot, Matt worked at Marlin Equity Partners, a private equity firm in Los Angeles, where he analyzed investments and monitored portfolio company performance across the technology and software industries. Before Marlin Equity, Matt worked at UBS in the investment banking division in the technology, media, and financial sponsors groups where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic initiatives. Matt also served at B Capital Group, a venture capital firm in Los Angeles, where he focused on investments in enterprise software companies. Matt currently sits on the board of FiscalNote, Fluent Commerce, HammerTech, MemberSuite, ProTecht, and Tulip.
