Bio

Mr. Etroy is a Partner and Head of European Private Equity in the Ares Private Equity Group. He additionally serves as a member of the Ares Private Equity Group's Corporate Opportunities Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2020, Mr. Etroy was Executive Vice President and Head of Private Equity at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) in London, where was responsible for the London office and was a member of CDPQ's Executive and Investment-Risk Committees. Previously, he was a Partner at Charterhouse Capital Partners LLP in London, where he worked for more than a decade. He holds an M.Sc. from HEC Paris in Finance.
