Mr. Wendling is a Vice President in the Ares Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Mr. Wendling was a Senior Associate at Sun Capital, where he focused on investments in mid-market companies in Europe. Previously, Mr. Wendling was an Analyst at Nomura Holdings. Mr. Wendling holds a B.Sc. from the University of Groningen in International Business and an M.Fin. from IE Business School.
