Mr. Clancy is a Vice President in the Ares Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2018, Mr. Clancy was an Associate at Warburg Pincus, where he focused on private equity investments within the technology sector. Previously, Mr. Clancy was an Analyst at Barclays, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions within the technology sector. Mr. Clancy holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from Boston University in Economics and Mathematics, an M.A. from Boston University in Economics and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
