Mr. Gee is a Managing Director and Controller in the Ares Investment Operations Department. Prior to joining Ares in 2017, Mr. Gee was a Vice President at TPG Special Situations Partners overseeing the accounting of the private equity style credit funds. Previously, Mr. Gee was a Senior Vice President at GSO Capital Partners and Controller at Avenue Capital Group, Cerberus Capital Management and Insight Venture Management overseeing the accounting of various types of funds including private equity, hedge and hybrid funds. Mr. Gee holds a BS from NYU's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and is a CPA.
