Bio

Mr. Levin is a Partner in the Ares Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2017, Mr. Levin was a Managing Director in the Private Equity Group at Blackstone and served on the Board of Directors of numerous private oil and gas companies. Previously, Mr. Levin was a Vice President at Pine Brook Partners, where he focused on the evaluation and execution of private equity investments in oil and gas companies. In addition, Mr. Levin worked for Warburg Pincus, where he focused on investments across the energy sector. Mr. Levin also serves on the Board of Directors of Admiral Permian Resources, BlackBrush Oil & Gas, DCR, Chisholm and Verdad Oil & Gas. Mr. Levin holds a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School in Economics.
