Bio

Mr. Sauer is a Principal in the Ares Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Mr. Sauer was a Senior Vice President in the Private Equity Group at Brookfield Asset Management, where he focused on investments primarily in the services and industrials sectors in Europe. Previously, Mr. Sauer was an Associate at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Sauer holds an MBA, with distinction, from London Business School. He is a CFA® charterholder.
