Responsible for acquisitions, due diligence, and portfolio management. Prior to Arable, Scott held several executive roles with the Louis Dreyfus Company, a global agribusiness focused across the value chain from farming, processing, logistics, and trading of agriculture commodities. Scott was President of Louis Dreyfus Citrus, Inc., a citrus processing and packaging subsidiary in Florida, where he held P&L responsibility across three manufacturing sites, sales, fruit procurement, and trading activities, and led the sale of its juice packaging operation. Previously, Scott was Vice President, Treasurer and Head of Business Development for the North American business which included leading several acquisitions in the agribusiness industry and raising over $2 billion dollars in financing. He also has experience leading investment activities for a family office and worked in investment banking with Merrill Lynch. Scott holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College. He and his wife, Kristen, have one child and are based in Bakersfield, CA. Scott races competitively in sailing and enjoys tennis, hiking, and outdoor activities.
