Bio

Rory joined Apposite Capital in 2017. He brings over 20 years of deal making experience having worked in private equity and corporate finance. He currently serves on the Boards of Emblation, HCML, Riverdale Healthcare and Summit Medical. Prior to Apposite Capital, Rory was at BGF Group plc where he led, and was a non-executive Director of, eight investments in the UK and was co-head of the Healthcare and Life Sciences team. Rory joined BGF in 2012 from Advent International where he had been a Partner. Having joined Advent in 1998, he took responsibility for the European healthcare team and launched Advent’s Japanese operations. Rory started his career in the M&A team of Baring Brothers International. Rory has a MA in Natural Sciences, Biochemistry from Oxford University.
