Mr. Press is a Senior Partner of Apollo Management. In his more than 20 years with Apollo’s private equity business, he has been involved in many of the firm’s investments in basic industrials, metals, lodging/gaming/leisure and financial services. Prior to joining Apollo in 1998, Mr. Press was associated with the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and related financing transactions. From 1987 to 1989, Mr. Press was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, a management consulting firm focused on corporate strategy. Mr. Press currently serves on the boards of directors of ADT, Apollo Commercial Real Estate, Gamenet and LifePoint Health. Mr. Press graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with an AB in Economics and has a J.D. from Yale Law School.
