Bio

Evan Kay is an Invesment Director at Anzu Partners based in San Diego with a focus on sourcing and supporting investments in additive manufacturing (AM) and aerospace technologies. He brings several years of experience accelerating the adoption of AM technologies at leading aerospace companies. Prior to joining Anzu, Evan was a part of a small group of Engineers building an AM Center of Excellence at General Atomics and Affiliates. He qualified four of the first five metal AM flight parts for the company and managed international R&D efforts. Evan has additionally spent time further developing metal AM technologies at NASA JPL and SpaceX’s propulsion R&D group. Evan holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
