Kirk Wickman is the President of Angelo Gordon and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Kirk joined the firm in 2008 as Chief Administrative Officer and in 2016 became Chief Operating Officer, supervising all non-investment functions at the firm. Previously, Kirk was General Counsel and a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley’s Global Wealth Management business. Prior to that, Kirk worked at American Skandia as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, at Aetna Financial Services as Senior Vice President and General Counsel and at Aetna Inc. as Vice President and Counsel. Kirk began his career at Kirkland & Ellis where he was a Partner specializing in securities, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. He holds a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College and combined J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Brigham Young University.
