Brian Sigman joined Angelo Gordon in 2013 and is the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. He also currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of the firm’s Structured Credit Platform, and Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer of MITT, Angelo Gordon’s publicly listed Mortgage REIT. Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer of Newcastle Investment Corp. and was also a Managing Director of Newcastle’s external manager, an affiliate of Fortress Investment Group LLC. In earlier roles at Fortress, Brian served as Vice President of Finance and as an Assistant Controller. Previously, he was a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP. Brian has a B.A. degree in Accounting from Queen’s College.
