Simon joined Anchorage in 2008 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2013. Simon is Chairman of Acrow Formwork and Scaffolding, Brand Collective and TJS Services as well as a Director of Affinity Education. Simon also Chairs the Turnaround Committee for Acrow Formwork and Scaffolding, Brand Collective and TJS Services and is a member of the Affinity Education Turnaround Committee. He was directly involved in Anchorage’s prior investments in Bisalloy, Burger King and Total Eden as well as Chairman of First Engineering's Turnaround Committee. Simon sits on Anchorage’s Investment Committee. Simon has extensive experience in strategic planning, M&A and Business Development, as well as direct operating experience across a range of industries, including media, manufacturing, housing and construction as well as gambling and entertainment, both within Australia and Internationally. Prior to joining Anchorage, Simon worked with both public and private companies including, James Hardie Industries, Consolidated Press Holdings, Tab Limited and Crown Casino. Additionally, he has also held positions with Ernst & Young. Simon holds a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and is a member of the Certified Practising Accountants in Australia.
