Bio

Ben joined Anchorage in 2018 and is involved with our transaction teams across the portfolio, including in due diligence, debt arrangement, capital and tax structuring, as well as investment integration and transition. Internally, he is responsible for finance, compliance and investor relations. Ben sits on the Board and Turnaround Committee of Solgen Energy Group. Ben has extensive local and international experience in financial accounting and fund administration and reporting, investor relations, portfolio operations and management, as well as M&A and capital structuring. Prior to joining Anchorage, Ben led the corporate finance and reporting functions for the Macquarie Group, primarily supporting principal transactions, in addition to overseeing the group’s financial control and external reporting activities. Prior to this role, Ben spent 9 years in London and led the finance, operations and transaction support functions for Macquarie’s Asset Management business. Ben has also held positions with Goldman Sachs in London and Deloitte in Brisbane. Ben holds a Masters of Finance from INSEAD, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and is a member of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.
