Since joining Ancala in 2015, Tim’s key investments include the acquisitions of Leep Utilities and subsequent bolt-on of SSE Water, Holmleigh Care Homes, Dragon LNG, Portsmouth Water, Liverpool Airport, Apache Corporation’s interest in the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (“SAGE”) terminal and Islands Energy Group. While at EY in Australia, Tim directed several major transactions including the sale of South Australia’s transmission network provider (ElectraNet) to China State Grid, the acquisition of Energy Developments by Duet Group and the acquisition and divestment of key assets within the global energy portfolios of Anglo American Plc and Vale SA. Tim also provided expert valuation advice to global energy majors (BHP, Rio Tinto, Shell, BG, Petrochina, Mitsui, Itochu) and infrastructure funds (QIC, Hastings, UniSuper, Schiphol) in relation to their energy and infrastructure asset portfolios. Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (majoring in Finance & Accounting).
