Eduardo is a Vice President of Amzak Capital Management’s direct investments group. Eduardo is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing, and post-closing operational strategies. Since joining Amzak in 2009, Eduardo has executed private equity investments in diverse industries including paper and packing, health and fitness, specialty finance and for-profit education. Prior to joining Amzak, Eduardo worked at Sun Capital Partners where he focused on investing in distressed securities across the capital structure in the consumer, retail and industrial sector. Eduardo began his career at JPMorgan in New York as an Investment Banking Analyst where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt financings and equity offerings in the transportation sector. Eduardo received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, cum laude, and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
