Bio

Jason is a founding member of American Working Capital working in AWC's New York office. Prior to AWC, Jason was an Investment Professional at The Yucaipa Companies, a multi-billion dollar investment fund founded by Ronald Burkle. At Yucaipa, Jason focused on originating and executing buyout and growth capital investments across a variety of industries. Prior to Yucaipa, Jason was a Vice President at RJ Easton Ltd. where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions advisory for specialty and consumer finance companies and led additional transactional assignments across a multitude of industry segments. Mr. Rosenthal has experience across the investment banking and corporate finance spectrum having served as both a buy-side and sell-side advisor in acquisition assignments and having performed valuation, fairness, and solvency work for more than 150 privately held companies. Jason was previously employed as a Senior Associate at Valuemetrics Advisors, Inc., where he advised management teams and institutional trustees on a range of topics including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, valuation and strategic financial advisory with a specific emphasis on ESOPs. Jason graduated with Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Economics and received an M.B.A. with Dean’s honors from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University.
