Bio

Dan is a founding member of American Working Capital working in AWC's Chicago office. Prior to AWC, Dan was an Investment Professional at The Yucaipa Companies, a multi-billion dollar investment fund founded by Ronald Burkle. At Yucaipa, Dan focused on originating and executing buyout and growth capital investments across a variety of industries. Previously, Dan was a Vice President with Duff & Phelps, LLC where he focused on providing investment banking and transaction advisory services to middle market companies across a wide range of industries. His investment banking experience includes executing leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate finance transactions. In addition, Dan has significant experience in ESOP transactions having led a number of such transactions, including structuring, implementation and financing of both S-corporation and C-Corporation transactions. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Dan was a Senior Associate with Valuemetrics Advisors, Inc., where he was active in all facets of the firm's financial advisory and investment banking practices. His extensive financial advisory experience includes providing fairness opinions, solvency opinions, business valuations and reviews of strategic alternatives for a variety of industries. Dan received a dual major BS from Vanderbilt University.
