Joined American Industrial Partners in 2023. Mr. Steyn most recently served as CFO of Pony.ai from 2021 through 2023, a tech start-up focused on autonomous vehicle software globally. Prior to Pony.ai, served as vice chairman of investment banking at JPMorgan from 2018 through 2021. Served as managing director of Morgan Stanley from 2007 through 2018, focused on advising industrial companies. Served as vice president at Goldman Sachs from 1994 through 2007, leading their European aerospace business during that time. Interned at McKinsey & Co. in 1997. Worked at Walt Disney in their corporate Treasury Group in Burbank, California from 1992 through 1994. Mr. Steyn graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with an AB in social studies and graduated from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania with a Masters of Business Administration.
