Susan has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance advising middle market and entrepreneur-led companies on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raises, and financial restructurings. Prior to joining American Discovery Capital, Susan was a Director at Clear Capital Advisors, a leading M&A advisory firm serving the middle market for over a decade. She started her career in the high yield department of Bankers Trust and Bank of America, followed by senior level roles at several Southern California boutique investment banks. She has successfully executed a diverse range of transactions including leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, growth recapitalizations and dividend recapitalizations across a wide variety of industries. Susan received an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and a BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis (John M. Olin School of Business). She is registered with FINRA as a General Securities Representative (Series 7, 79 and 63) and a General Securities Principal (Series 24). She and her husband, Jeff, have been married for 19 years and have two children.
