Prior to American Discovery Capital, from 2011 to 2016, Mike was a member of the senior management team of YapStone, Inc., a leading venture-backed provider of online and mobile payment solutions for global marketplaces and large vertical markets. At YapStone, Mike was most recently GM of YapStone’s vertical business operations. In this role, Mike worked with YapStone’s founder and CEO to develop growth strategies for YapStone’s vertical businesses, including RentPayment and VacationRentPayment, and oversaw the implementation and coordination of these strategies across sales, business development, marketing, customer support, product development and recruiting/HR. Prior to his role as GM, Mike served as SVP of Business Development for YapStone, responsible for YapStone’s M&A strategy and the development of strategic partnerships and major client accounts. During Mike’s tenure at YapStone, revenue increased over six-fold to a run rate of $200+ million. Prior to YapStone, Mike worked for twelve years as an investment banker with UBS Investment Bank and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). He most recently was an Executive Director and Co-Head of Business Services Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank, responsible for leading UBS’s investment banking activities for the firm’s business services clients. Over the course of his investment banking career, Mike has completed numerous M&A advisory and financing transctions for his clients in the business services and technology sectors. Mike holds a B.S. in finance and accounting from Indiana University.
