Alex joined Amber Infrastructure shortly after the management buyout in 2009. He previously worked for KPMG advising clients on corporate listings, acquisitions and disposals, financial reporting, controls, processes and audit, with a focus on the provision of due diligence and accounting services to infrastructure clients, including the significant majority of secondary market PPP portfolios and U.K. airport transactions. Alex has had overall responsibility for the finance function of the Group and Amber Infrastructure’s listed and unlisted funds. He oversees all financial and management reporting, tax, accounting and forecasting for the group. He is a member of the Amber Infrastructure Executive and Investment Committees. Alex holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Accounting from Bristol University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
