Neil is a Partner at Alvarium. He has more than 30 years of experience in the investment management industry and has been a Partner at Alvarium since 2011, when he led a management buyout of Deloitte’s Investment Advisory business, of which he was the partner in charge. Prior to joining Deloitte, Neil trained as an analyst at J Henry Schroder Wagg & Co, before joining SG Warburg, later to become Mercury Asset Management (MAM), as an Investment Manager specialising in US equities. Neil was Chief Investment Officer of the Global Equity team when MAM was acquired by Merrill Lynch in 1998 and spent a further three years at Merrill Lynch until 2001. Neil holds a joint honours degree in Economics and Agricultural Economics from Manchester University.
