Jose is a Partner at Alvarium. He is a director of the Miami-based subsidiary of Alvarium acquired in 2014 from Guggenheim Partners, a global investment and advisory firm and has more than 25 years of experience in investment banking, private equity and asset management. Jose is a relationship manager for ultra-high net worth clients. Jose is a member of Alvarium’s Investment Advisory Investment Committee. Before joining Guggenheim Partners Latin America in 2002, he was in charge of Acquisitions and Business Development at TMSG, an affiliate of private equity firm Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst. Prior to that, between 1993 and 1998, he worked as an Associate in investment banking at JP Morgan & Co and as an Analyst at Oppenheimer & Co Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Applied Science from The Engineering School of The University of Pennsylvania. He also holds an MBA with honours from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
