Bio

Gideon is a Partner at Alvarium. He is also Co-Head of Alvarium's Hong Kong subsidiary which was acquired from Guggenheim Partners, a global investment and advisory firm. Gideon has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry in Asia. Prior to joining GIA(HK) in 2003, he worked for Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia (CLSA), where he spent three years leading the Asian convertibles research product. He also worked as a research analyst covering Hong Kong equities and Asian distressed loans for HSBC Securities and Sumitomo Bank respectively. Gideon holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Chartered Accountancy Studies from the University of Waterloo in Canada, as well as professional designations as a Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant.
