As we close the first quarter, we remind ourselves of the extraordinary performance of equity markets from the bear market lows of last year. Francesco is a Managing Director and responsible for the tax division of Alvarium Investment Managers SA. He worked at Starfin from 2011 until 2016, when the multi-family office was demerged into Albacore and later partnered with Alvarium. Before joining Albacore, Francesco worked in Brussels for two years at Assonime (a think-tank linked to Confindustria) and in Milan for seven years at a boutique firm advising on cross-border taxation. He has 18 years of experience in tax advisory and a master’s degree in taxation, which he gained at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), where he lectures on Italian and Swiss taxation. He advises clients on financial taxation, wealth planning, asset protection and succession planning.
