Scott Richter is a Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations at A&M Capital. Since 1997, Mr. Richter has held senior private equity marketing positions and been responsible for all aspects of marketing private equity partnerships to institutional investors including public and corporate pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, foundations & endowments, fund of funds, family offices and high net-worth individuals. During this time, Mr. Richter’s senior leadership roles were with Ashton Stewart & Co, Barclays, Lehman Brother / Neuberger Berman, Atlantic-Pacific Capital, Bear Stearns, J.P. Morgan, PaineWebber and BancBoston Robertson Stephens. Prior to marketing private equity partnerships, Mr. Richter was with Pacific Corporate Group (1994 to 1997), a leading private equity consultant, where he was responsible for direct, co-investments and limited partnership investing. He was the lead consultant on the California Public Employees’ Retirement System account. Mr. Richter was also a corporate banking officer at Bank of Nova Scotia and began his career as a consultant/auditor at Ernst & Young. Mr. Richter is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds an MBA, double major in Finance and International Business, from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science and Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from St. Mary’s College of California.
