Before joining A&M Capital Europe, Charles was a Principal with CCMP Capital, a €3 billion private equity fund formerly known as J.P. Morgan Partners. Charles was based in London and focused on pan-European investments. Prior to CCMP Capital, Charles was an Associate at Merrill Lynch’s investment banking team in Paris, France. In aggregate, Charles has 21 years private equity investing and investment banking experience. Charles is currently a Director of Bollé Brands, Ayesa and IBG. He was previously a Director of La Patria. Charles is a French national and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin (magna cum laude). Charles speaks English and French and has substantial board-level experience in Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the UK.
