Enrico Ricotta joined Alto Partners in 2019 as a Senior Partner and Director. Prior to this event, he was a co-founder of Mandarin Capital Partners, a private equity fund manager investing primarily in Italian mid-market companies, where he acted as a Managing Partner from 2007 to 2018. Previously, Enrico Ricotta held the position of Managing Partner of the Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Private Equity fund for Italy from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that point, he served as General Manager of a joint venture between IMI and ABN Amro for private equity investments in Italy. He also gleaned previous experience with the industrial groups Montedison and Merloni Elettrodomestici. Enrico Ricotta graduated in Business Administration from Rome University with a Master of Business Administration from ISTAO in Ancona. He was selected for scholarships from the governments of the US and Japan. At Alto Partners, Enrico Ricotta focuses on deal origination and negotiation, as well as portfolio company monitoring and development, with a focus on the business-to-business mechanical and the chemical & pharmaceutical sectors.
