Nathan joined Alterna in 2016 with responsibilities ranging from new deal origination to the management of existing investments, with a focus on Alterna's aviation portfolio. Nathan has spent over seven years in the aircraft leasing and financing market, most recently based in London with the Deucalion Aviation Funds. At Deucalion, the equity investment team at DVB Bank SE, Nathan was responsible for sourcing, analyzing, executing and managing potential and existing aviation related assets including aircraft on lease, airframes, engines and aircraft disassembly transactions. Prior to DVB Bank SE, Nathan worked for the Risk Management team based in Dublin, Ireland at AWAS Aviation Capital, a top 10 global aircraft leasing firm. He received a B.S. in Finance and International Business from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
